Tracey Jane
An award-winning playwright and filmmaker; Creative Copy Director for Marriott Vacations Worldwide; Florida native and mom of two; Tracey is an imaginative storyteller with productions of her short plays from Miami to New York, Los Angeles to London. Her signature stage QUICKIES by Tracey Jane are flirty and full of playful personification, double-entendres, and other satisfying literary toys. Tracey's first five short films: Men Are Dogs, Build-a-Bob, Love Eternal, The Heartbreak, and Life Is Torture (A Simply Medieval Musical) each won Best Picture and 32 combined awards with Orlando Independent Filmmakers alone. And her first full musical for brave souls of every age, A Halloween Carol, is in development for future production.
"I write stories to make people laugh. To make the world a little happier. Through distinct characters, playful dialogue, and memorable moments, I also love to create fun roles for stage and screen players—especially women—to bring to life.

Reviews
“A raunchy feminist comedy about artificial affection.”
—Seth Kubersky, re: Build-a-Bob
“...an adult take on Pixar's Inside Out that anthropomorphizes the logical and emotional hemispheres of an overstressed wife's brain. As she contemplates divorcing her Star Wars-obsessed schlub of a husband, her dreams manifest as a pizza sauce-smearing nightmare…ridiculous yet relatable scenario with the comic timing of a sitcom pilot.”

“That ‘first date at home’ - that ‘first meeting of the...pets?’ What could ruin what is destined to be a wonderfully romantic night? Oh so very, very much. [Meet the Pets:] A wonderful comedy, with two animal roles actors should and will be dying to play. Brava, Tracey! Most enjoyable.”
—John Kelly, playwright
“TRACEY JANE has written a sexually suggestive play without any vulgar language. A witty and wonderful short story of two women determined to change their lives by taking leave of men ‘with only one thing on their mind’. Welcome To Intercourse will get you to laugh out loud at the double-meaning dialogue.”
—Jack Levine, playwright
“Set at a most-unusual cocktail party, Tracey Jane’s [Jim Reaper] ponders deep questions with terrific laughs and surprising twists. Comic dialogue, clever idioms, and creative characters mix elegantly in an exploration of death that becomes a celebration of life. Embrace this REAPER. Death has never been sexier, wittier, and more romantic.”
—Ken Preuss, playwright
“Oh how we take our morning rituals for granted - hitting the snooze button on the alarm clock just one more time, rolling out of that oh so comfortable bed, grabbing a quick coffee... But how might the alarm, the bed, and the coffee feel about our actions? The Morning Ménage is a wonderfully enjoyable short that asks just that question. Outstanding. Highly recommended.”
—John Kelly, playwright
